ABOUT ME

Within both the public and private sector, I have held a raft of positions from model and athlete, to army officer and operations director. Working alongside individuals from many walks of life has enabled me to build an easy rapport with those I report on.

Not to to be confused with a French journalist with the same name, I am UK-based and frequently cover stories related to geopolitics, security and social mobility. I read BSc Physics at Queen Mary, University of London, later attending the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst for training in leadership and defence. I also undertook a postgraduate degree in MA Broadcast Journalism at City, University of London.

It was while serving as an army officer that I was exposed to the pivotal role sharing engaging narratives has in influencing others. Coupled with valuable lessons in cognitive and behavioural science, I quickly learned that the medium through which a message is conveyed often has as much impact as the content in the message itself. This drove my decision to learn more about engaging storytelling and examining 'the why' behind a narrative

Bright, engaging and articulate... Etienne continuously projected his personality and character to enable him to effectively motivate [others]... His written work is of a particularly high standard; producing logical, fluent and accurate reports.
